Practical
Terms of service
Last updated August 25, 2026
These are the terms between you and Pomsoul Wellness (“Pomsoul”, “we”), based in Halton Region, Ontario, Canada, when you use this website, attend a class, buy a membership or recording access, or book a retreat. They are written to be read, not skimmed past, and they are deliberately short.
What we provide
Live online Qigong classes, a library of recorded classes, occasional in-person workshops and retreats, and sessions for organizations. What each purchase includes, and its price in Canadian dollars, is stated on the offerings page at the time you buy. Where a price says tax is included, it is.
Health and safety
Qigong is gentle, but it is still physical movement. Classes are not medical advice, and Stephanie is not your healthcare provider. If you have a health condition, an injury, or any doubt about whether the practice suits you, check with your doctor before starting. During class, you are responsible for your own space and your own limits: every movement can be softened or done seated, and you are always free to rest. Stop anything that hurts.
Memberships and classes
A membership is personal to you and is not transferable. Join links are for the member they are sent to. The schedule may occasionally shift; if we cancel a class, we will tell you as early as we can and the class will be rescheduled, recorded, or credited. Renewal pricing for returning members is protected: your renewal price never goes up.
Recordings
Recordings are licensed to you personally, for your own practice, until the access date stated when you purchased. Please do not share links or accounts, redistribute recordings, or record classes yourself. Other people in a live class have not agreed to be recorded by anyone but us, and we edit and publish with care.
Retreats
Each retreat page states its own dates, price, deposit, confirmation date and cancellation policy, and that published policy is the one that applies. Deposits and refunds for retreats are described in detail on the refunds page.
Refunds
Our refund policy is published in full on the refunds and cancellation page and forms part of these terms.
Conduct in shared spaces
Classes hold people who are tired, recovering or anxious, and the room is kept gentle on purpose. We ask for ordinary kindness. If someone repeatedly disrupts that space, we may end their membership, refunding the unused portion.
Liability
To the extent Ontario law permits, our total liability in connection with the services is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing limits any rights you have under Ontario consumer protection law.
The practical rest
Your personal information is handled as described in our privacy policy. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and any dispute belongs to the courts of Ontario. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will say so on this page and, for significant changes, by email. Questions are welcome at info@pomsoul.com.
